1960s Era Colt Python Double Action Revolver, #65626, .357 mag. cal., 6'' vent rib barrel, blue finish, factory checkered walnut grips with inlaid gold Colt medallions, blade front sight, adjustable rear sight, checkered hammer, with added serrated trigger shoe. In non-matching Colt simulated woodgrain two-piece box with yellow end label. Mfg'd 1967. Condition of metal surfaces is about fine retaining approx. 93%-95% blue, with some thinning and losses to cylinder, muzzle and right side of barrel. Grips with flattening to checkers, as well as oil staining and thinning to varnish. Action is crisp with tight lockup; bore is near excellent. An early Colt Python that shows moderate use but is not abused. Est.: $2,400-$2,800. (Modern) (Not available to Calif. residents.)
